The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation and current income. Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the fund's net assets (plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) are invested in equity securities of small- and mid-capitalization companies. It will invest primarily in U.S. common stocks. Although the fund will invest principally in small- and mid-capitalization companies, it may invest in companies of all market capitalizations, including large-capitalization companies.
