American Airlines joins a growing list of major carriers turning to Starlink for in-flight connectivity.

American Airlines said Tuesday it plans to install Starlink on more than 500 narrow-body Airbus aircraft beginning early next year, the latest carrier to pick the SpaceX unit for inflight Wi-Fi service.

After a tough start to the year, some analysts see airline stocks catching a tailwind soon.

Joining in the airline industry race to use Starlink as an inflight WiFi provider, American Airlines says it will install the technology on more than 500 narrowbody aircraft, starting in the first quarter of 2027.
